General Terms & Conditions

 

  1. If the application form is signed on behalf of the student by his sponsor/guardian or representative, these conditions remain binding on all parties.
  2. The minimum age for any English courses is sixteen (except for Junior Summer Courses and school group courses). There is no any upper limit of age.
  3. The formation or continuation of any course/class is dependent upon a sufficient number of student enrolments and attendances. For most courses there will be a minimum enrolment of eight students.
  4. We do not offer any classes to students who are an absolutely beginner in English.
  5. The tuition fees and the deposit of the tuition fees are valid only for the student, course and date specified on the application form.
  6. It is a condition that the College requires at least 80% attendance from a student before examination. (does not apply to distance learning)
  7. Any prolonged absence from classes must be reported to the Administrative Office immediately. Students must notify any changes of address to the office. Overseas students must note that where a statement has been sent to the Home Office to support visa applications, the College will be obliged to notify the Home Office of any cancellation.
  8. No interest is paid on a refund of any deposit.
  9. Books are not included in the course fees.
  10. The College reserves the right to withdraw a subject at any time when it considers that it is not viable, whereupon an alternative subject may be offered.
  11. There is no reduction in fees where there is a UK public holiday.
  12. The College reserves the right to withdraw advertised courses, for which insufficient number of students has enrolled and to close any class if low attendance makes it no longer viable.
  13. Students cannot change from a full-time course to a part-time course or vice versa.
  14. If necessary we may use any other classrooms in any other buildings located near the College.
  15. If any students behave in such a manner, which prejudices the best interests of the College his/her college registration will be terminated.
  16. The College reserves the right to make whatever changes may be deemed necessary in admission requirements, fees, tuition policies, regulations, academic programmes. It may also alter the timetable, transfer students from one class or course to another, from one time of study to another, and to merge small classes.
